From engineered design to operating asset.
The challenge
A successful project depends on every interface working.
Design, procurement, construction and commissioning are interdependent. Gaps between them can lead to delays, rework, quality issues and uncertainty at handover.
- Design decisions that do not account for site execution.
- Procurement schedules that do not align with construction needs.
- Quality, safety and contractor interfaces across work packages.
- Testing, grid coordination and handover requirements late in the schedule.
Our responsibility
Where SunWorks fits
SunWorks can be engaged to deliver an agreed renewable-energy project scope from design coordination through procurement, construction and commissioning. We coordinate with the client, suppliers, subcontractors, utilities and other appointed stakeholders according to the project’s contract and responsibility matrix. Scope boundaries, exclusions, schedule assumptions, quality requirements and acceptance criteria are defined before execution; grid approvals and third-party responsibilities are addressed explicitly in the project plan.
CapabilityScope of work
- 01Design coordinationTranslate project requirements into coordinated design and construction inputs.
- 02Procurement & vendor coordinationSupport specifications, vendor alignment, inspection requirements and delivery scheduling.
- 03Construction executionCoordinate civil, structural and electrical works within the contracted scope.
- 04Quality & safety controlsApply agreed inspection, testing, documentation and site-safety processes.
- 05Grid interface & commissioningCoordinate pre-commissioning checks, testing, synchronisation readiness and issue resolution.
- 06Handover documentationCompile agreed records, test reports, punch-list closure and asset handover documents.
MethodHow we work
- 01DefineConfirm scope, site inputs, contract interfaces and acceptance criteria.
- 02EngineerDevelop and coordinate design packages and construction plans.
- 03ProcureAlign specifications, suppliers, inspections and delivery sequence.
- 04ExecuteCoordinate site works, quality checks, safety and schedule controls.
- 05CommissionComplete defined checks, testing, issue resolution and grid-interface activities.
- 06Hand overClose agreed documentation, punch lists and handover requirements.
- Design-to-site continuityConnect design decisions with procurement and installation realities.
- Interface managementDefine responsibilities and handoffs between project parties.
- Quality built into deliveryUse agreed inspection points and records rather than relying only on final checks.
- Milestone visibilityTrack constraints and decisions that affect schedule and acceptance.
