01 / 05 · Engineering & Design

Engineering the foundation of every project.

SunWorks provides multidisciplinary engineering and design for solar and hybrid renewable energy projects, translating project requirements, site conditions and performance objectives into coordinated, construction-ready solutions.

The challenge

A design must work on paper—and in the field.

Renewable projects bring together site constraints, technical standards, energy targets, interfaces and construction realities. If these are not resolved early, they can create redesign, delay and avoidable delivery risk.

  • Site conditions, land constraints and layout optimisation.
  • Electrical, civil and structural interfaces across disciplines.
  • Performance, safety, standards and grid requirements.
  • Constructability, procurement inputs and coordinated documentation.

Our responsibility

Where SunWorks fits

SunWorks can join during feasibility, bid development or detailed design, depending on the project’s maturity and agreed scope. We work alongside developers, owners, EPC contractors, equipment suppliers and other design stakeholders to develop coordinated technical packages. Responsibilities, design inputs, review stages and deliverables are agreed at the outset; construction execution and statutory approvals remain with the appointed parties unless specifically included in the engagement.

02 / 05 · Technical & Financial Advisory

Better technical evidence for better project decisions.

SunWorks supports developers, corporates, investors and financial stakeholders with feasibility, technical due diligence, techno-economic analysis, regulatory advisory and transaction support for renewable-energy opportunities.

The challenge

Decisions are only as strong as the evidence behind them.

Renewable-energy investments depend on technical assumptions, project economics, regulatory pathways and delivery risks. Gaps in these inputs can affect feasibility, valuation and execution confidence.

  • Uncertain site, resource, grid or project constraints.
  • Energy-yield and cost assumptions that need independent review.
  • Regulatory and commercial structures with state-specific implications.
  • Technical risks that need to be understood before a bid, investment or transaction.

Our responsibility

Where SunWorks fits

SunWorks can support early screening, feasibility, bid evaluation, investment review or ongoing project monitoring. We work with developers, industrial consumers, investors, lenders and their legal, financial and technical advisers to assess the agreed questions and document findings. The scope defines assumptions, information sources, exclusions and the level of reliance on the assessment. Legal, tax and financial advice remain with the appropriately appointed specialists unless separately agreed.

03 / 05 · Project Management Consulting

Independent oversight for controlled project delivery.

SunWorks provides project management consulting across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, helping project owners maintain visibility over progress, quality, cost, schedule and execution risks.

The challenge

Project delivery needs more than a progress update.

Multiple contractors, shifting interfaces and tight milestones can make it difficult for owners to see emerging issues early and take informed corrective action.

  • Different contractors working to different assumptions and schedules.
  • Limited visibility into actual progress, quality and critical-path risk.
  • Site deviations and quality issues discovered late.
  • Incomplete commissioning records and handover readiness.

Our responsibility

Where SunWorks fits

SunWorks can be engaged during planning, mobilisation or active execution to provide an agreed level of independent project oversight. We coordinate with the owner’s team, EPC contractors, consultants and site stakeholders to review progress, risks, quality and interfaces. The engagement defines reporting cadence, authority, site presence and escalation routes. Contractual responsibility for construction remains with the appointed contractor unless the scope explicitly states otherwise.

CapabilityScope of work

  • 01Planning & mobilisationReview project baselines, milestones, mobilisation plans and contractor readiness.
  • 02Site supervision & QA/QCMonitor site activities, inspection records, non-conformances and compliance with approved documents.
  • 03Schedule & progress controlTrack milestones, planned versus actual progress, constraints and recovery actions.
  • 04Cost & change visibilitySupport change tracking, risk registers and decision records within the agreed mandate.
  • 05Stakeholder reportingProvide structured reporting, action logs and escalation of material issues.

  • Action-orientedTurn observations into named actions, owners and follow-up dates.
  • TransparentMaintain clear reporting lines, decision records and escalation protocols.

04 / 05 · Turnkey EPC

From engineered design to operating asset.

SunWorks delivers renewable-energy projects through an integrated engineering, procurement and construction model, connecting technical design with procurement, construction, testing and commissioning under an agreed project scope.

The challenge

A successful project depends on every interface working.

Design, procurement, construction and commissioning are interdependent. Gaps between them can lead to delays, rework, quality issues and uncertainty at handover.

  • Design decisions that do not account for site execution.
  • Procurement schedules that do not align with construction needs.
  • Quality, safety and contractor interfaces across work packages.
  • Testing, grid coordination and handover requirements late in the schedule.

Our responsibility

Where SunWorks fits

SunWorks can be engaged to deliver an agreed renewable-energy project scope from design coordination through procurement, construction and commissioning. We coordinate with the client, suppliers, subcontractors, utilities and other appointed stakeholders according to the project’s contract and responsibility matrix. Scope boundaries, exclusions, schedule assumptions, quality requirements and acceptance criteria are defined before execution; grid approvals and third-party responsibilities are addressed explicitly in the project plan.

05 / 05 · Operations & Maintenance

Supporting performance throughout the asset lifecycle.

SunWorks provides structured operations and maintenance services combining remote monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnostics and performance analysis to support plant availability and long-term asset performance.

The challenge

Plant performance needs active, informed management.

Generation losses can arise from equipment faults, soiling, outages, delayed response and limited visibility into recurring issues. Reliable operations depend on detecting problems, prioritising action and learning from performance data.

  • Faults or underperformance not identified quickly.
  • Preventive work and corrective actions that are difficult to track.
  • Limited visibility into PR, availability, yield and recurring losses.
  • Maintenance records, spares and site actions that are not consistently coordinated.

Our responsibility

Where SunWorks fits

SunWorks can support plant owners after commissioning or take on an agreed O&M scope for an operating asset. We coordinate with asset owners, site teams, OEMs and other service providers to monitor performance, plan maintenance, investigate issues and report against agreed KPIs. Responsibilities for site access, spares, OEM warranties, statutory requirements and response times are defined in the service scope and operating procedures.

CapabilityScope of work

  • 01Remote monitoring & alertsReview generation, inverter status, alarms and operating data through available monitoring systems.
  • 02Preventive maintenancePlan inspections, equipment checks and scheduled maintenance activities.
  • 03Corrective maintenance coordinationTriage faults, coordinate technicians and track corrective actions to closure.
  • 04Performance analyticsReview PR, availability, specific yield and generation variance against agreed baselines.
  • 05Diagnostics & inspectionSupport electrical checks, thermography and inverter or component diagnostics as scoped.
  • 06Reporting & spares coordinationMaintain service records, action logs and agreed spares or maintenance reporting.
